    A fire risk assessment is a legal requirement for all non-domestic premises under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.     Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), every employer must ensure that work equipment is suitable for its intended use, safe to operate and properly maintained.
